Club Activities and Events


Youth Events

Flag Football- Fall, Basketball League  Winter/Spring, Boys & Girls Club Week and Day for Kids- September, Teen Conference, Teen Graduation Party, Spring and Fall College Tours, Blythe and Tucker Community Christmas Parties, Johnson Teen Center Annual Thanksgiving Dinner, Tucker Fall Festival, Catch Fishing Derby and Youth of the Year Celebration

Signature Club Programs

Andor (Hungarian meaning for “man”) – An authentic manhood program guiding boys to become men using hands on monthly themed skill development and character development trainings. Each month has specific trade skill focus while using Passport to Manhood to guide with character development.

Great Futures – Guidance counselors and coaches are placed at each Unit to help guide youth to vocation, college, and or military. Meetings with each youth are documented within the Member Tracking System for follow up.  

STRIDE Academy – Online educational program that helps youth stay current with their academics. Results gathered by this web based program are used by Great Future Coaches/Mentors to help guide specific youth personal educational growth. Outcomes are also used for 21st Century and United Way outcome reports.
